Tehran, Oct. 19 – The student newspaper ‘Az Shanbeh ta Shanbeh’ (From Saturday to Saturday) published in the town of Shahre-Kord (central Iran) has been suspended for a period of 6 months.

The weekly which was published by the Islamic Students Society of the Shahre-Kord University was ordered to be closed after it printed an article ‘insulting the Islamic Republic’.

Students from Shahre-Kord University called the suspension ‘another act of repression’.
