Iran Focus: Tehran, Jun. 14 – Some 210 men and 112 women have been arrested for promiscuous conduct in airports in Iran over the past 82 days, according to the head of security of Iran’s airports, Revolutionary Guards Brig. Gen. Nabiollah Heidari.

Tehran, Jun. 14 – Some 210 men and 112 women have been arrested for promiscuous conduct in airports in Iran over the past 82 days, according to the head of security of Iran’s airports, Revolutionary Guards Brig. Gen. Nabiollah Heidari.

“71 women without proper attire were prevented from boarding, and their cases were handed over to the Judiciary”, Heidari told the semi-official ILNA news agency.
 
“33,029 passengers were told to change clothes before boarding, 87,714 improperly dressed passengers were given notices and 3,506 others signed pledges to dress properly”, he said, emphasising that people coming to receive arriving passengers would be prevented from entering the airports without proper attire.
