ImageTehran, Iran, Sep. 07 – Iran's hard-line President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in a Monday press conference repeated in no uncertain terms that Iran will not negotiate over its nuclear program.

"I will never negotiate for the nation's inalienable nuclear rights. Our stance in this regard is clear," Ahmadinejad said. His remarks were carried by the state-run news agency Fars.

"My stance today is the same stance I took before and after the (presidential) election. The issue of the nuclear energy is a finished case to us," Ahmadinejad emphasized.

Iran has long been accused of running a clandestine nuclear weapons program.
