Tehran, Iran, Jul. 05 – Iran’s nuclear negotiator announced in Tehran that the Islamic Republic was ready to share its “home grown” nuclear knowledge with other countries including Egypt.

“Iran is ready to provide Egypt with its scientific and technical experiences in the production of peaceful nuclear energy and launch cooperation with Cairo in this ground”, said Saeed Jalili, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council (SNSC).

Whilst speaking to the Egyptian al-Ahram newspaper on Monday, Jalili declared Iran was ready to resume diplomatic ties with Egypt, adding he sees “no security hindrance to the resumption of relations between the two countries”.

According to the state-run news agency Fars, he went onto say: “Arab revolutions will no doubt change regional equations”.

In other news on Egypt, a senior member of the Egyptian Al-Ikhwan al-Muslimun (Muslim Brotherhood) party told Fars they were ready to take 30-40 percent of the upcoming parliamentary seats.
