Iran Focus: London, Aug. 12 – The British Foreign Office on Friday criticised Iran for breaching international agreements and resolutions by the United Nations nuclear watchdog Board of Directors by resuming part of its nuclear fuel cycle. A statement by Foreign Office Minister Ian Pearson, posted on the ministry’s website stated, “Earlier this week, Iran made a serious mistake in resuming part of its nuclear fuel cycle by restarting its uranium conversion facility in clear breach of previous international agreements and IAEA Board resolutions.

Annan throws his weight behind UN atomic agency in nuclear standoff with Iran
