Tehran, Iran, Nov. 21 – Iranian authorities hanged a man in public in the province of Golestan, northern Iran, state media reported on Tuesday.

The man, only identified by his initials A. A., 29, was hanged in the city of Gonbad, the semi-official daily Kayhan wrote.

He was accused of murder.
