Tehran, Iran, Jan. 17 – Iran’s chief nuclear negotiator Saeed Jalili arrived in Beijing on Thursday for talks with senior Chinese officials.

Jalili, the Secretary-General of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, will meet Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi during his two-day trip.

The meeting will focus on Iran’s nuclear standoff with the international community as well as Tehran-Beijing bilateral relations.

The official Iranian news agency has estimated the value of trade between Iran and China at 20 billion dollars in 2007.
