Tehran, Iran, Apr. 24 – Iranian authorities have hanged five men in Tehran's notorious Evin Prison, state media reported on Thursday.

The men were hanged early on Wednesday, the state-run daily Iran wrote.

The Fars news agency, run by the Office of Iran's Supreme Leader, identified the men as Ahmad, 38; Esfandyar, 35; Hami, 29; Mohammad, 40; Mohammad, 32.

They were accused of murder.
