ImageTehran, Iran, Oct. 04 – Inspectors from the International Atomic Energy Agency will on 25 October inspect Iran's previously undisclosed second uranium enrichment facility near the holy city of Qom, central Iran, the head of the UN atomic watchdog said on Sunday.

Mohamed ElBaradei, the outgoing IAEA chief, told a news conference in Tehran Iranian officials would hold nuclear talks with their counterparts from the United States, Russia, and France on 19 October.

"We will have a meeting to discuss the technical details, and hopefully we will hammer out an agreement as early as possible", ElBaradei said. "We will have a meeting on October 19th with the participation of the United States, Russia, France, and of course the agency will act as a convener of the meeting".

ElBaradei said the IAEA and Iran disagreed over the timing of the disclosure of the pilot enrichment plant.

"Iran should have informed the IAEA the day they had decided to construct the facility", he said, referring to an IAEA transparency statute that was tightened in 1992 to require immediate notification of planned nuclear facilities.
