Reuters: Energy Minister Taner Yildiz said on Wednesday the absence of Turkey from a list of countries exempted from sanctions over Iranian oil purchases did not mean it will not obtain a waiver later. ANKARA, March 21 (Reuters) – Energy Minister Taner Yildiz said on Wednesday the absence of Turkey from a list of countries exempted from sanctions over Iranian oil purchases did not mean it will not obtain a waiver later.

Speaking to reporters at an energy conference in the Turkish capital, Yildiz also said it was out of the question to stop buying oil from Iran unless alternatives are found.
