Iran Regime’s Unstable Economy Gets Worst by IRGC Meddling

London, 4 November – The Iranian Regime has expressed doubts about dealing with the unstable economy and the rise in unemployment but the situation might be about to get a whole lot worse.

The Iranian Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) have declared that the unemployment crisis is a security threat and that it will set up organisations in the provinces to deal with unemployment.

Yazdan Haj Hamzeh, a political and economic analyst, has given his views on the subject in an interview.

He warned that it could lead to the IRGC meddling even more in the economy of Iran and that IRGC meddling has always proved destructive in the past.

Hamzeh, a member of the National Council of Resistance of Iran, said that the IRGC and the Iranian Regime have not been clear about the establishment of unemployment organisations, specifically what form they will take and how they will be set up.

He said: “The significant issue is to deal with the unemployment which requires an investment. The funding cannot be supplied from the internal resources and the insolvent banks. The banks have gone bust.”

He warns that with the IRGC’s involvement in the economy, Iran would be less likely to secure foreign investment as the IRGC is a terrorist organisation.
