Iran Focus: Baghdad, Dec. 30 – An agent of Iran’s State Security Forces (SSF) died while in detention in Iraq, according to an Iraqi television report. Iran Focus

Baghdad, Dec. 30 – An agent of Iran’s State Security Forces (SSF) died while in detention in Iraq, according to an Iraqi television report.

Al-Sharqieh television reported that the SSF agent had been arrested along with five other Iranians while attempting to illegally cross into Iraq three weeks ago.

The arrests had been reported to Interpol at the time.

The Iranian agent died as a result of drug-related illnesses, the report added.
