The Russian proposal is no longer on our agenda, Asefi said in comments that were aired on state television.
We are awaiting the results of the process of the United Nations Security Council, he said.
The International Atomic Energy Agency referred Tehran to the Security Council on Wednesday after it resumed uranium enrichment at its nuclear installation in Natanz.
