BERLIN, March 30, 2006 (AFP) – Iran has to choose between cooperation with the international community on its nuclear programme or isolation, German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier said here on Thursday.

“It is now up to Iran to make a choice … between isolation brought about by its own actions or a return to the negotiating table,” he said after a meeting of foreign ministers of the UN Security Council’s five permanent members on the Islamic Republic’s nuclear programme.
