Tehran, Iran, Sep. 05 – A prisoner was hanged in the southern port city of Bandar Abbass, the semi-official daily Kayhan reported on Monday.

The man, identified as Hamid Hosna’i, was hanged on Sunday on several charges, including drug smuggling and involvement in the recent string of bombings in the oil-rich province of Khuzestan, the report said.
