The Hill: A Bad Nuclear Deal With Iran Is A Danger To The World Peace

-

Professor Raymond Tanter of the University of Michigan warns today in an article publish by The Hill that, “A bad nuclear deal with Iran would jeopardize world peace.”

While Tanter agrees that people would rather that President Obama can manage to talk sense into Iranian regime’s ears to halt their nuclear program, he expresses no hope as the Iranian regime has shown no intention to “forgo its nuclear weapons program.”

Inspired by a video published on YouTube by an Iranian woman and her younger brother who lost their father to the 1988 massacre of political prisoners in Iran, Tanter underlines the true aspiration of the Iranian people to be rid of the mullahs and to establish democracy and freedom.  The two Iranian dissidents,  Amineh and Ehsan Qaraee, who  have now taken refuge in Norway, tell the story of how their father was killed at the hands of the Iranian mullahs while he was only sentenced to 5 years in prison for his political affiliation with PMOI or MEK.

“A robust, strong deal with strong inspection regime will manifest Ayatollahs’ weakness and strategic deadlock and embolden Iranian people for their rights,” writes Tanter, expressing concern that, “a bad nuclear deal allowing Tehran to go nuclear while duping the West,” however,  “would strengthen the regime.”  And that would mean more suppression and greater brutality.

Amineh invites all to join her and her brother in the upcoming June 13 Rally in Paris held by National Council of Resistance of Iran in support of a democratic change in Iran.  In this rally that is attended by many international lawmakers, personalities and former officials, the key-note speaker will be President-elect of NCRI Maryam Rajavi.  A similar meeting last year drew some 100,000 people.

“The huge gathering in Paris on June 13 introduces the alternative to the rule of mullahs in Iran,”  say Amineh in the video.
