London, May 28 – United States-led troops in the Iraqi capital have once again arrested a “terrorist” believed to have ties to a “secret cell terrorist network” known for transferring roadside bombs from Iran to Iraq.

The individual was nabbed by Iraqi and Coalition Forces during multiple raids targeting “secret cell terrorist leaders” in the Baghdad slum Sadr City on Sunday, the Multi-National Force – Iraq (MNF-I) said in a statement.

“Intelligence reports directed Iraqi and Coalition Forces to a residence where they detained an individual who is believed to have ties to a secret cell terrorist network. The network is known for facilitating the transport of weapons and explosively formed penetrators, or EFPs, from Iran to Iraq, as well as bringing militants from Iraq to Iran for terrorist training”, the statement said.
