ImageIranian troops have been secretly moving concrete markers on the border with Iraq, grabbing new territory.

They sneaked into Diyala province, north of Baghdad, days after America announced plans to re-name Operation Iraqi Freedom to Operation New Dawn by September.

That would effectively end the war for the US.

Iran is believed to be stoking up secretarian trouble between Muslims to keep US troops in Iraq and stop America from turning its full attention to President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's nuclear programme.
