London, Dec. 12 – The United States will stand against Iranian and Syria threats in Iraq, a report released on Monday by the White House said.

The report, entitled “Fact Sheet: Democracy in Iraq”, said that ordinary Iraqis were opposed to “Iranian-style theocracy”.

“Iran is actively working to undermine a free Iraq”, the report said, adding, “Syria is permitting terrorists to use its territory to cross into Iraq”.

“The vast majority of Iraqis do not want to live under an Iranian-style theocracy and want Syria to stop allowing the transit of terrorists”, it said.

The White House report added that the U.S. would “stand with Iraq against these threats”.
