Tehran, Jun. 12 – Clashes erupted on Saturday between security forces and several hundred opposition supporters in Molla-Sadra Street in northern Tehran, an Iran Focus correspondent reported.

The opposition supporters chanted “Death to Khamenei”, Iran’s Supreme Leader.

They clashed with security forces, pushing them back.

Security forces were forced to take cover in Shamsi-Pour Technical Institute.

Saturday marks one year since anti-government protests took the nation by storm.
