Iran Focus: Tehran, Iran, Jul. 13 – Iran’s Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi landed in Algiers on Wednesday where he was met by his Algerian counterpart Mourad Meldeci.

Tehran, Iran, Jul. 13 – Iran’s Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi landed in Algiers on Wednesday where he was met by his Algerian counterpart Mourad Meldeci.

Salehi was on his way to Nigeria to attend the 14th foreign ministers meeting of D8 member states in the capital Abuja.

IRNA reported during his stop-over, the two ministers discussed ways of expanding Iran-Algeria bilateral ties and the latest regional developments.

In further news on Algeria, the former speaker of Iran’s Majlis (Parliament) Gholam-Ali Haddad Adel was in Algiers Tuesday and met a number of Algerian lawmakers.
