Tehran, Iran, Jan. 05 – Iran’s hard-line President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad lashed out Thursday at Israel for the fourth time this week, saying that “no Muslim nation would put up with this entity in Islamic lands, not for one moment”.

Speaking before a crowd in the city of Qom, south of Tehran, Ahmadinejad repeated his previous remarks calling for Israel to be “wiped off the map” and describing the Holocaust as a “myth”.

“If it’s true that the [Europeans”> committed a big crime in World War II, then they must take responsibility for it themselves, and not ask the Palestinian people to pay the price”, the hard-line President said in a speech that was aired on state television.

Accusing the European nations of “supporting oppression and atrocities”, Ahmadinejad said these governments had “no right to speak out for human rights”.

“Those countries that support this regime [Israel”> were terrified at the suggestion that [Israel”> should be relocated to their neighbourhood. So why should the Palestinians and the countries in our region accept this entity?” Ahmadinejad said.

“We just asked them this question, and they reacted by saying Ahmadinejad is a warmonger and is against human rights, and so we mustn’t let his government have nuclear technology”, the ultra-conservative President said.

Earlier this week, Ahmadinejad told a group of Islamist student activists, “Some in Iran and abroad thought that we were making these speeches without a specific plan and policy, but we have been pursuing a deliberate strategy in this regard”.

“The wave [that these speeches created”> has a lot of supporters among young people in the Muslim world and it will continue to move forward”.
