Mohsen Farhadi, Environmental Health Technical Deputy of Iran’s Health Ministry, referring to the increasing trend of the coronavirus infected people in Iran said: “It is forecasted that some of the restriction must be reinstated.”
He added: “In Tehran, there is no sign of change, but with this trend of the disease growth, it is forecasted that some of the restriction will be returned.”
The headquarters of combating the coronavirus in Tehran decided: “To prevent the spread of Pathogens, the provision of library services to the members of the public libraries in Tehran from 6 July has been stopped.”
The government’s statistics reveal just a part of reality. In the past day, 2,560 infections and 163 deaths have been added to the statistics, which was the highest rate from the beginning of the spread of the virus in Iran.
The spokesman of the Ministry of Health reported the situation of the Khuzestan, West and East Azerbaijan, Kurdistan, Kermanshah, Hormozgan, Bushehr, Khorasan Razavi and Ilam as red, and Tehran, Fars, Isfahan, Mazandaran, Hamedan, Zanjan, Sistan and Baluchistan, Alborz and Lorestan as the provinces with a warning status.
Because of the government’s delay in combating the virus, now the government is forced to announce the obliged use of the face mask. And it said that the government will not provide government services to the clients without a mask.
According to the report of ISNA on 6 July, the regime’s Deputy Minister of Civil Engineering said: “Until now 150 of the drivers of the Bus section are infected with the coronavirus, unfortunately, nine have died. In the taxi drivers’ section, 450 of the drivers are infected, and 35 have died.”
Saeed Khal, Iran’s government official in Tehran’s Behesht-e Zahra cemetery, said on 6 July: “With the recurrence of the coronavirus, the number of deaths has increased. These figures are worrying. Even the numbers we are witnessing, are unprecedented in the last 75 days.”
Tasnim reported: “If the health issues are not observed, Tehran will return the difficult and unbelievably past coronavirus situation. This is nothing else than trouble for the health staff. The cemeteries of the country have special conditions and the statistics of Tehran are not comparable with the whole country.”
Doctor Payam Tabarsi, Head of the Infectious Diseases Department of Masih Daneshvari Hospital, in an interview with Quds news agency on 6 July said: “Now in this hospital the are no empty beds for the coronavirus patients. It’s is natural that with the increasing of the coronavirus infected, the number of beds will be not enough.”
On 5 July, on the Khuzestan TV, the regime’s television presenter told Larry, the spokesman for the regime’s Ministry of Health: “Now, the ICU of the Golestan hospital is full. All its beds are full. Now if a patient needs an ICU, there is no bed in Golestan Hospital.”
About Khuzestan, he said: “As regards that the situation of Khuzestan is special, one-third of the statistics that the Ministry (Health) is announcing is belonging to Khuzestan.”
The Head of the Special Department of Shiraz’s Hospital said: “Now that I am talking to you, exactly one hour ago, one of the personnel of the Beheshti Hospital, despite all our efforts, unfortunately, died.”
“Mr. Governor, every death that happened in this city and province was in my section. And I am sure we will have at least ten deaths in four or five days. There is no cure for this disease. The city must raise its flag halfway and become half dark so that we can convey our anger to you. All the people of the province are dying, do not let the people die like that.
“Put politics aside. What kind of management is this, whereby its people are ahead of its managers? If your province is good because its people are good; not you. Not me. There are people who are controlling the system. People who are donating, people who are buying masks.
“Now, all the restrictions of Ali Asghar Hospital are being removed by the people. How long should this happen. Why do I have to wake up in the morning and a patient which I am involved with him for 4-5 days, they told me that he died.
“How long do you want to avoid? That is enough. We are tired of all this negligence. Please take control. We are dishonored when our people die.”
