Tehran, Iran, Feb. 06 – India’s Foreign Minister Pranab Mukherjee arrived in Tehran on Tuesday for trade talks with Iranian officials, the official news agency IRNA reported.

Mukherjee’s two-day trip will include talks with his Iranian counterpart Manouchehr Mottaki and Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

India and Iran are expected to discuss two multi-billion-dollar gas deals including a pipeline that will stretch through Pakistan to help meet the demands of energy-hungry India, the report said.
