Tehran, Iran, Mar. 13 – Iran’s new ambassador to neighbouring Azerbaijan submitted his credentials to the Azeri Foreign Minister during a meeting in Baku on Monday, state media reported.

Nasser Hamidi Zare met and held talks with Foreign Minister Elmar Mahhadyarov.

Mahhadyarov told the Iranian envoy he would soon travel to Tehran to take part in a meeting of the Iran-Azerbaijani Joint Economic Commission.
