Tehran, Aug. 06 – Iran’s hard-line President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad arrived in Algiers on Monday on a state visit to Algeria, state media reported.

Ahmadinejad met and held talks with Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika, the official news agency IRNA said.

Iran’s former President Mohammad Khatami visited Algeria in 2004.
