Tehran, Iran, Jan. 30 – Iran’s Majlis (Parliament) Speaker is in Cairo for talks with Egyptian officials state media reported.

Gholam-Ali Haddad-Adel arrived in the Egyptian capital on Tuesday.

On Wednesday, Haddad-Adel met and held talks with Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak.

The Iranian Majlis Speaker told reporters that Mubarak had assured him that Egypt would not make any decisions regarding Cairo-Tehran ties under pressure from the United States.
