Tehran, Iran, Apr. 09 Authorities in Semnan Province, northern Iran, hanged a man in prison at dawn on Wednesday, state media reported.
The man, identified only by the initials P. P., 31, was hanged in a prison in the city of Semnan, the official news agency IRNA said.
The report said that he was accused of fatally stabbing a man.
He was hanged in the presence of police and judicial officials, the report added.
