ImageTehran, Iran, Jun. 17 – Iran’s Foreign Ministry has appointed a new envoy to Brazil, official media reported on Tuesday.

Mohsen Shaterzadeh-Yazdi was appointed as the Islamic Republic’s new ambassador to Brasilia, the government-owned news agency Mehr said.

Shaterzadeh-Yazdi had previously served as deputy minister of industries and mines, secretary of Iran-Venezuela High Committee, and deputy director of the Chamber of Commerce.
