Tehran, Iran, Dec. 10 – A young man was hanged in the Iranian capital Tehran, the state-run news agency ISNA reported on Saturday.

The man, only identified as Gholam S., was accused of stabbing a friend to death in April 2003 after a dispute over money.

The report said that Gholam, 24 years old, was executed “a few days ago” inside Tehran’s notorious Evin Prison in front of prison and judicial officials.
