Tehran, Iran, Jan. 10 – Rusty oil pipelines in and around the Iranian capital Tehran risk exploding because of their aging state, an official from the Tehran Council said.

“It is extremely important to increase the number of hospital beds available for burns patients because Tehran is prone to such incidents”, Abdollah Roshan, head of the politico-security department in the Tehran City Council said.

Roshan said the current 300 hospital beds available for burns were insufficient to be able to deal with any possible pipeline explosions.
