Iran Focus: Tehran, Iran, Feb. 27 – Tehran’s flower market caught fire, the state-run Mehr news agency reported on Monday.

Tehran, Iran, Feb. 27 – Tehran’s flower market caught fire, the state-run Mehr news agency reported on Monday.

The fire began at one stall and soon after spread to nearby stalls until finally the main hall of the bazaar was set ablaze.

The report said that damages were in the range of 800 million Rials ($800,000).

The fire was blamed on overloads in the electricity power lines and the use of substandard electricity sockets.
