Tehran, Iran, Mar. 09 Irans Defence Minister declared on Thursday that the Islamic Republic would give a crushing and lethal response to any military attack on its nuclear sites.
If any country attempts aggression against Iran, the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran will give a crushing and lethal response, General Mostafa Mohammad-Najjar told the official news agency IRNA.
Iran is resolute in obtaining and making use of peaceful nuclear technology and believes it to be the inalienable right of the entire Iranian nation to do so, Mohammad-Najjar said.
The issue over Irans nuclear file was technical but they turned it into a politico-security problem, the general said of Wednesdays decision by the International Atomic Energy Agencys 35-nation Board of Governors.
The whole world knows that by referring Irans nuclear program to the Security Council the international bodies have been discredited because they seek to weaken Iran.
