Tehran, Iran, Jun. 11 – Iran’s chief nuclear negotiator criticised on Sunday a package of incentives offered by key members of the United Nations Security Council in return for it to abandon its uranium enrichment activities as one with many problems.

Speaking alongside the secretary general of the Arab League Amr Mussa at a press conference in Cairo, Ali Larijani said, “There are positive points in the recent proposal but it also has many problems”. His comments were reported by the official news agency.

Larijani, who is the secretary general of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, denied reports in Western press that the offer, which was formally presented to Iran last week, contained any disincentives.
