After just three sessions with the hard-line president, the Young Student Advisors to Ahmadinejad were told that there would be no subsequent sessions, the daily Rooz reported on Tuesday.
The student congress was cancelled because of participants harsh criticism at the governments higher education curriculum, the report said.
Most of the participants in the three previous congresses were members of the Islamic Students Society. The first session was held nine months ago.
