Tehran, Iran, Jul. 24 – Two teenagers were hanged in public in the town of Aq Qala, northern Iran, the official news agency reported on Monday.

The pair were identified as 18-year-old Ibrahim Azeri and 19-year-old Abdollah Qahre-Qoul.

Colonel Mohammad Zahedi Tamsokani said that the teenagers had been charged with rape.
