London, Aug. 02 – On Monday, the United Nations Security Council adopted a legally-binding resolution ordering Iran to suspend its uranium enrichment activities.

The 15-nation council gave Iran until August 31 to comply with its demands or else face the possibility of sanctions.

The West suspects that Iran is pursuing a secret nuclear weapons program under the guise of producing nuclear energy.
