Tehran, Iran, Sep. 23 – Iran’s new ambassador to Pakistan arrived in Islamabad to begin work in his new post, state-run press reported on Saturday.

Masha’allah Shakeri, 49, began official duties on Thursday.

He previously held positions in Iran’s foreign affairs and roads ministries.
