Tehran, Iran, Nov. 10 – An Iranian man was hanged in prison in the southern port city of Bandar Abbas, the semi-official daily Jomhouri Islami reported on Thursday.

The 36-year-old man, only identified by his initials M. M., was hanged at dawn on Wednesday inside Bandar Abbas’ central prison, the report said.

He was accused of killing a Bangladeshi citizen in 1999.
