Tehran, Iran, Dec. 15 – Iran’s Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki blamed the United State’s “incorrect policies” for the violence in neighbouring Iraq.

“The rise in the level of daily killings of Iraqi people is indicative of the nature of the U.S.’s incorrect policies during the occupation”, Mottaki was quoted as saying on Thursday by the government-run news agency Fars.

He made the remarks following a meeting with his Kazakh counterpart in Astana.
