WHITE HOUSE – President Bush says it was a “reasonable decision” to let Iran apply for membership in the World Trade Organization.

At a White House news conference, Bush told reporters that letting Tehran apply for membership in the trade group could help European diplomatic efforts to put a lid on Iran’s nuclear program.

But, he also said that Iranian leaders have broken previous agreements on nuclear proliferation and have shown “they are not to be trusted.”
