London, Mar. 01 United States President George W. Bush declared on Wednesday that he was opposed to Iran obtaining nuclear weapons.
Speaking at a joint press conference with Afghanistans President Hamid Karzai during an unexpected visit to Kabul, Bush said a nuclear-armed Iran would be the most destabilising thing in the world.
Iran must not have a nuclear weapon, Bush said.
The most destabilizing thing that can happen in this region and in the world is for Iran to have a — develop a nuclear weapon, he added.
Bush said the international community was united in telling Iran that it shall not have the means, the knowledge to develop a nuclear weapon.
