Iran’s chief nuclear negotiator to travel to Paris on Friday

Iran Focus: Tehran, Iran, Sep. 07 – The secretary general of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council and Tehran’s chief nuclear negotiator will travel to Paris as part of his previously-unannounced tour of European countries in an effort to make headway in the international standoff over the Islamic Republic’s suspected nuclear weapons program.

Tehran, Iran, Sep. 07 – The secretary general of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council and Tehran’s chief nuclear negotiator will travel to Paris as part of his previously-unannounced tour of European countries in an effort to make headway in the international standoff over the Islamic Republic’s suspected nuclear weapons program.

Ali Larijani will travel to Rome later this evening to meet and hold talks with Italian Prime Minister Romano Prodi, the official news agency IRNA reported on Thursday.

From there he will part for Paris. The report did not name the officials Larijani will meet while in the French capital.
