AP: Russia is bringing home its technicians and engineers from Iran’s unfinished nuclear reactor site at a time of growing international pressure on Tehran to curb its atomic ambitions, U.S. and European representatives said Tuesday.

AFP: Iran stopped UN inspectors from visiting an underground bunker where it is building an industrial-scale plant to make enriched uranium but the inspectors will try again, diplomats told AFP Monday.

Reuters: Russia on Tuesday denied a report that senior officials had warned Iran that nuclear fuel for its first atomic power station would be withheld unless Tehran suspended uranium enrichment.

Reuters: A senior Iranian official told foreign envoys on Monday the country was prepared for either cooperation or confrontation, ahead of a U.N. vote on imposing further sanctions because of Tehran’s nuclear program.

AP: South Africa called Monday for a 90-day “time out” on sanctions against Iran and said a resolution drafted by six world powers should drop an embargo on arms exports and financial sanctions targeting Iran’s Revolutionary Guards and an Iranian bank.
