Tehran, Iran, Feb. 21 – Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei appointed a cleric as his new personal representative to the province of Kermanshah, western Iran, on Wednesday.

In a letter the text of which was reported by state-run news agencies, Khamenei appointed Hojjat-ol-Islam Mostafa Olama as his personal representative to the province.

Olama will also lead the main Friday prayers sessions in Kermanshah.

He replaces Hojjat-ol-Islam Hossein Zarandi.
