Iran Focus: Tehran, Jul. 07 – From the Grapevine… Some residents of Tehran-Sar and Ekbatan townships in west Tehran have this week received leaflets in their mailboxes from pro-democracy activists urging them to take part in anti-government protests to mark the anniversary of the 9 July 1999 student-led uprising in Iran.

Some residents of Tehran-Sar and Ekbatan townships in west Tehran have this week received leaflets in their mailboxes from pro-democracy activists urging them to take part in anti-government protests to mark the anniversary of the 9 July 1999 student-led uprising in Iran.
 
“Freedom and toppling dictatorship depends on unity and the presence of all Iranians on 9 July”, were written on some leaflets.
