Iran Focus: Tehran, Iran, Sep. 20 – In anticipation of an announced protest march by students at Tehran and Sharif Technological universities, since Tuesday morning, authorities have deployed a large number of plain-clothes officers, the paramilitary Bassij and police forces.

Tehran, Iran, Sep. 20 – In anticipation of an announced protest march by students at Tehran and Sharif Technological universities, since Tuesday morning, authorities have deployed a large number of plain-clothes officers, the paramilitary Bassij and police forces.

The march is scheduled to being at 18:00 hrs., local time from Vali-e Asr to Vanak Square. 

Yesterday and last night, thousands of pictures of those killed during the June 2009 uprising, including Kianoosh Assa and Neda Agha-Solton, were distributed around Vali-e Asr square. Many people carried them this morning.
