Maryam Rajavi: Condemned the Rocket Attacks on Mecca

London, 31 October – The President-elect of the Iranian Resistance has condemned the rocket attacks on Mecca on Saturday.

Maryam Rajavi described this brutal attack, believed to have been launched from Yemen on the order of Iran’s supreme leader Khamenei, as a declaration of war against all Muslims.

She demanded that Iran is expelled from the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) as a result and that Islamic countries sever their ties with the dictatorship.

She said: “Even earlier the mullahs’ regime spared no effort to conduct crimes and desecration of Mecca and the sacred House of God. Among others were sending explosives to Saudi in 1986, and causing riot and chaos in Mecca in 1987 that took the lives of more than 400 pilgrims. This is the very same regime that did not even hesitate to explode the shrines of Shiite Imams in Mashhad and Samarra in a bid to maintain its infamous reign.”

The Iranian Resistance revealed that the Iranian mullahs were shipping arms to the Yemeni rebels as early as September 2015, according to the National Council of Resistance of Iran.

This was backed up in October 2016, by the US authorities who had confiscated five arms shipments from Iran to Yemen.

The Iranian Resistance stated the only way to improve the situation there is the removal of the Regime. They are not moderates and they cannot be reasoned with.
