Tehran, Iran, Nov. 16 – One of Iran’s biggest university library’s caught fire in the early hours of the morning, state television reported on Wednesday.

The main library in the University of Tehran caught fire at 4:10 am, according to the report.

A major part of the library and at least 7,000 of its books were burnt down.

There were no reports of injuries.

The report did not state whether the fire was accidental or intentionally carried out.
