Tehran, Iran, Nov. 27 – A man was hanged in central Iran earlier this week, state media reported on Tuesday.

The man, only identified by his first name Ahmad, was hanged in a prison in the city of Isfahan, the official daily “Iran” wrote.

The execution took place on Monday morning, the report said.

Ahmad was accused of drug trafficking.
